ETF Core Strategies

Aim: To trend-trade general equity ETFs so as to ride rallies and buck busts in the Australian share market.

ETF Rotation Strategies

Aim: To back the local and foreign sector ETFs with the strongest price gains over both short and long terms.

What we offer

Our financial services consist of generating and publishing ‘market-timing signals’. Specifically, we provide our clients with Buy‘ and ‘Sell‘ signals for trading exchange traded funds (ETFs).

An ETF is a trust fund listed on the Australian Securities Exchange that invests in a portfolio of tradeable assets (such as shares) that often mirrors a well-known stock market index (such as the SPDR/ASX 200 share index).

Changes to our signals are communicated by email alerts for the Conservative Share Strategy and via our Weekly Update bulletin for the Local and Global ETF Rotation Strategies.

  • A ‘Buy‘ signal flags when it is beneficial to be ‘In‘ the Australian share or gold market (via an exchange traded fund or the like).
  • A ‘Sell‘ signal flags when it is prudent to be ‘Out‘ of the Australian share or gold market (by shifting to a safe cash management account).

Our ETF trading strategies

We publish market signals for three ETF trading strategies, each of which involve a different number of expected signal changes per year and different risk and return characteristics. These strategies are:

Core Strategies

  • Conservative Share Strategy, which is expected to generate an average of two signal changes per year;

Rotation Strategies

  • Local ETF Rotation Strategy, which is expected to generate about three ETF switches a year.
  • Global ETF Rotation Strategy, which is expected to generate about three ETF switches a year.
